Health Policy & Law is an online Masters of Science program developed by UCSF and UC Hastings. Here is a small sample of the motion design I created that accompanied many of the videos. All together, over 14 courses each with dozens of media pieces were made. I was in charge of editing and animating approximately half of the videos that were selected to receive motion graphics. These pieces were created on an extremely tight schedule- often 10+ minute lectures had only a few days to turn around. It was quite a creative challenge working with this curriculum as most of the lectures were focused on abstract legal healthcare topics that didn't lend themselves to visualization easily. The effective solution was often using the movement of abstract shapes and symbols, rather than representational graphics, to enhance the online learning experience.
